By signing up for Spottr, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.


No Tolerance for Objectionable Content

Spottr is committed to providing a safe and respectful community. We have zero tolerance for:

  • Obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
  • Spam or misleading information

Violation of these policies may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.


User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all content you post.
  • Do not post content that violates any laws or rights of others.

Content Ownership and Moderation

You retain ownership of your content. However, by posting, you grant Spottr a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the app.

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these terms
  • Take action against users who violate our policies

Reporting and Blocking

  • Users can report objectionable content or abusive behavior.
  • Users can block other users from interacting with them.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these terms without prior notice.


Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of Spottr after changes means you accept the new terms.


Copyright Protection

All content, features, and functionality of Spottr, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, are the exclusive property of Spottr and are protected by international copyright laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our app without prior written consent from Spottr.

Any unauthorized use of Spottr's copyrighted materials may result in legal action and termination of your account.


Audio Content and DMCA Compliance

Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, sharing, or distributing any audio content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, including but not limited to music, sound recordings, or other copyrighted audio materials.

Spottr complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to valid takedown notices. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, please contact us at contact@tryspottr.com with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The location of the allegedly infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief
  • A statement under penalty of perjury

Users who repeatedly infringe copyrights may have their accounts terminated.
